Drive belts

• The advantage of RIBES Drive belts and Conveyor belts is the continuously smooth endless connection, that depending upon dimension, can be installed within minutes.
   
• With the help of our skiving-devices and electrically heated presses, even a  Layman is given the opportunity to easily and accurately connect our belts,  out outside as well as in a machine.
   
• Our skiving device sands the belt-ends into wedges. The shape of the wedge, as well as the length necessary for the different types of belts arises from the angle of inclination on our device-plates.
   
• The sanded surface must be carefully cleaned of dust and adhesion remains, then the surface is thinly coated with our special adhesive and after a short  drying period, layed together over their entire length and then put in the middle of the press and held in place using the clips .
   
• The approximately 30 minute long preheated press should now be closed. After on appropriate press-time, depending on belt type, the press an be opened and  the belt removed. The belt is then ready to use after a short cooling period.
